Hi Experts,
I am having my PLC program in TIA Portal V14 and the SCADA on the Wincc OA.
Is it possible to simulate the Application in Wincc OA from TIA Portal.
I have been developing the application earlier in TIA Portal with Wincc Advance SCADA, and
I use to test both PLC program and SCADA in simulation mode.
Is it same possible in Wincc OA.
Thanks and Regards
Chandan.

Re: Simulation in WinCC OA with TIA Portal
WinCC OA does not have a simulation mode.
For testing how a WinCC OA application responds on values from a PLC it is enough to just write the values on the datapoint elements (which normally gets these values from a PLC).
But also PLCSIM V14 (or newer) could provide the values for the S7+ driver.

Hi Expert,
Thanks for the reply below.
I have created the project in the TIA Portal v14.
I want to test this by running the PLC SIM and communicating with WINCC OA.
What are the steps and procedure to do this.
Will be highly obliged if I get some more details on it.
Regards
Chandan.

Re: Simulation in Wicc OA with TIA Portal
It should be straight forward:
1. Set PLC type to 'PLCSim'
2. Set the 'PG/PC Interface' to 'S7ONLINE --> PLCSIM'
