A question some time ago arised: Is it possible to use AttentionEffect.ewo instead of drawing shapes in GIS Viewer?
Answer: Yes. as you can use addSymbol() to place any Panel Reference into the Gis Viewer, also any EWO can be used.

Re: Incorporation of AttentionEffect.ewo with GIS Viewer EWO
Please note : the GIS viewer was never developed to display 1000's of WinCC OA animated panels or to incorporate widgets with attention effects.
The safest way to do this would be to 'addSymbol' your attention widget on top of the GIS EWO (and not as a shape in the GIS viewer)
