WinCC OA is a event driven system. Values can only be saved when they are changed.
There is no possibility to configure an archiving in a defined time interval.
At the _archive config you can define a smoothing (old/new comparison, time dependent, value dependent or a combination of it). With the smooting you can reduce the amount of saved information, e.g. if the value is changed every second but you do not want to save every value.

With a stastical function you can calculate a value based on one or more input parameters in a given time interval, e.g. an average value for 5 minutes.

Why do you want to save a value in a defined time interval?
How often will the value be changed?
Shall the values also be saved even if it has not changed?

Hi

DPE will change every 1 sec but in the report, I want to show every 15 min value, If I go with Archive Compression again DPE count will be there for a license so because of that.

The number of archived DPE elements is not taken into account for the license check.
If the report shall only display 15 minute values you could use the statistical functions to calculcate the 15 minute value which will then be shown in the report.

I do not know the meaning of the information given in 6AV6351-1HC31-5AA0.
If your license has the keyword ios = 3000 set you can configure up to 3000 dp elements for the communication to the periphery/PLCs (I/Os).
The count is not based on the amount of dp elementes configured in your system.

The option "ios" counts the number of active DPEs which holds an address (eg. for a driver).
This license-entry has nothing to do with archiving of DPEs.

For more information in this matter have a loot at the WinCC OA-help: Installation / Requirements for WinCC OA / Licensing / chapter: License options in the shield file

We have ordered the WinCC OA but still, we have not received the software, I think 6AV6351-1HC31-5AA0 is the part number for ios 3000 DPE.
now I understood this.

Thank you Very Much.
