The operating system Windows 10 IoT is officially not supported. We do not make tests with this operating system and therefore we have no experience.
Which type of device/hardware do you want to use?

I think the intended hardware is an Intel i5 machine. We have ordered a machine anyway so will run some tests to see if it works.

Does ETM know when they will support this OS. The new Siemens IPC SIMATIC IPC477E comes loaded with only the following OS's..

Preinstalled operating systems:
- Windows 7 Ultimate MUI
- Windows Embedded Standard 7
- Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2016, 64-bit

Windows 7 is being retired by Microsoft. that only leaves Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. This makes a hard seeling point to a potential customer wishing to purchase this IPC and use WinCC OA as the SCADA software.

Do you have any ETA on when ETM will support this OS?

Hello.

With the upcoming release of 3.16 within the next couple of days we will fully support
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016, 64 Bit

This is the W10 version of the 477E, see

for details.
