Panels with extended properties and events are not compatible with Simple Symbols mechanism :S
In fact, when i associate the panel to a DPType, an intermediate panel dedicated to Simple Symbols was created and properties/events are not routed.
Is this intermediate panel really needed ?
What is the ETM opinion about Simple Symbols + OOP ?
Thanks for your response

What do you mean with intermediate panel? Could you post a picture from this panel?

I also never understood why that happens, but it is a nuisance. It would be nice to have the original object used in the panel.
I am sure there is a good reason for that behaviour, but I don't know what it is...

Re: Simple Symbols + OOP
I've tested it and this information/panel is saved everytime when a panel is added as a symbol to a DP-type.
It is not a special functionality when using a panel with extended properties and/or events (object oriented panels).

Re: Simple Symbols + OOP
Dear Leopold,
Sure, the simplesymbols panel is generated/Saved everytime when a panel is added as a symbol to a DP-type.
The problem is with a "POO" panel.
The generated panel hides all properties/event of the POO panel.
Will it be usable with a next patch or not ?
Best regards

Re: Simple Symbols + OOP
The new panel contains the selected panel as a reference.
When I open the panel (created automatically when defining a symbol for a DP-type), select the reference and look at the "Extended" tab I can see the same information as in another panel where the same reference is used. The defined properties are listed.
There is no difference for inserted references if the panel is created manually or automatically.
