WinCC_OA 3.15 Installation Issue

Hello,

I had "Error during installation of package Microsoft Visual studio 2010 x64 Redist - return value - 2147023293" during WinCC OA 3.15 setup message when I try to install WinCC OA 3.15 on Windows 7 64bit.

I use "Administrator" as login so it is not a permission problem.

Try to use "Run as Administrator". Being logged in as an administrator does not mean the applications are run with administrator privileges.
I think this only applies to Windows 8 and newer, but you should try it anyway

Hello,

in the past there was a known problem according the Microsoft Visual studio 2010 x64 Redist (but only related to some special configured "siemens client machines").
It was already fixed. --> at least an information message should popup.
What is written inside the mentioned logs?
Perhaps you can find out some further details in temp directory.

--Please uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable (Vcredist vc10 x64 )
--After that install WinCCOA 3.15 again.
