Upgrading to 3.14 procedure

Hi,

I am attempting an upgrade from 3.9 to 3.14 and there is one item in the help file that is a bit confusing.

If a project with Russian language should be upgraded to the version 3.14, import the file WinCC_OA_Path/dbFiles/Version_3.14/configs.txt via the ASCII manager. After the upgrade, import the file WinCC_OA_Path/dbFiles/Version_3.14/update_configs.txt via the ASCII manager.

I did the first part and it changed all the passwords I had for users (as those DPE values are in the "configs.txt"). Is that an intended behaviour or am I misunderstanding these instructions?

Hello,

it seems that this is a documentation entry from the past (related to language switch).
It isn't a precondition to perform the upgrade and should be ignored.
