s7-plcsim with 3.15, problem tips

Hi All

Someone that have had S7-PLCsim and 3.15 working together, I can not get connection up? I get State Host 1: Inactive, [mark Establish connection], [Apply], Connecting, Disconnected after approx 1-2min.

Im trying between WinCC OA 3.15 P002 and S7-PLCsim V13 SP1 with CPU-1500. PLC type: PLCsim, S7+ drive number is 2(Console S7Plus is 2 and started), Set PG/PC-interface is S7ONLINE(STEP 7)->PLCSIM S71200/S7-1500.TCPIP.1, Connection 1: 10.10.10.10(set in TIA-project), SCADA Export from Tia is no problem, Create of connection with TIA project S7+ symbolic selection works fine.

OA-log Viewer gives me:

WCCOAs7plus (2), 2017.05.09 15:07:18.013, CTRL, SEVERE, 12/s7plus, Login to PLC for Connection 1 failed with error -270
WCCOAs7plus (2), 2017.05.09 15:07:37.794, SYS, SEVERE, 94, Driver communication failure, failure condition on HmiConnection, _slussbro

Someone that knows what can be wrong?

Hello Gunnar!

As it says in the WinCC OA Help "PLCSim: For simulating ... (supported from TIA portal version 14 onwards)" we do not support connection to PLCSIM V13 but only V14 and newer.

Hello Gunnar,

it is still possible to use NetToPLCSim (easy to find on Google) to connect WinCC OA 3.15 with PLCSim.
I am currently working with it and it works just fine.

NetToPLCSim does not work with the S7-1200/S7-1500 family, it only works for the S7-300/S7-400 family (with PLCSIM V5.x).

For the S7-1200/S7-1500 family the options are:
- PLCSIM V14 (or newer) with the PLCSIM S71200/S7-1500 connection
- PLCSIM Advanced, which could run on a remote host (just like with NetToPLCSim)

I did not read properly the initial request, which actually concerns the S7-1200/1500 family.

In my case I am using it with S7-300/400 PLCs!
