how to use 3.15 external Authentication?

Hi i wanna use my own external Authentication!

3.15 added a offical way to use external Authentication.

I found a function like:

loginCheckExternalAuthentication()

and a config entry
Config file:

[extAuth]
externalAuthenticationSystem = ""

I can't find anything in the internal help documents :dry:
