GEDI configuration reset

is there a way to reset GEDI to its original layout ?

yes. Remove the file ~/.config/ETM/PVSS00ui.ini

Martin gave you the path to find the file on a linux machine.
In Windows you will find it in C:\\Users\\%UserName%\\AppData\\Roaming\\ETM\\PVSS00ui.ini
