Forward Oracle Synchronization Button doesn\'t work

Post by sroca »

Hello,
We have a WinccOA 3.13 Patch 13 Project. It archives data in Oracle database 12c using RDB Manager.

All seems to work fine, but when I click to "Forward to Center Oracle Synchronization" button in "configure Archive groups" panel, it doesn`t work. An error popup message appears in screen "Error when executing the database query - please check database connection".
The database connection is OK, so I have check the log, and the following message appears.
WCCOAui (2), 2017.02.20 11:04:05.941, CTRL, INFO, 0, , Try connect to available data base MSORA
WCCOAui (2), 2017.02.20 11:04:22.850, CTRL, SEVERE, 76, Invalid argument in function, Error in the Query!, ORA-00942: la tabla o vista no existe
In panel scope library: para\\archive\\RDB\\sync\\HistSynch.pnl []
Line: 120, ddaDat, 1
2: main() at [Module: Vision_65 Panel: para\\archive\\RDB\\sync\\HistSynch.pnl Script: Initialize]:49
WCCOAui2:["SELECT Statement not successfully executed"][-1]["SELECT bulk_id, sys_id, group_name, status, status_time FROM vstatusfwd ORDER BY status, status_time"]

Exactly, i don't have the view "vstatusfwd", what does it mean? My installation is wrong?
The button "RDB Log" is disabled for me. Is it normal?

Thanks in advance,
Sandra.

If you want to use this function you need an Oracle client installation at the computer where the client is started.
Also you need the correct setup (tnsnames.ora) to be able to connect to the Oracle database defined in your project.

Can you please check if these prerequisites are fulfilled.

If the synchronization shall be used in your project it is necessary to execute the scripts placed in WinCC OA installation/data/RDBSetup/ora/sync.
For details please have a look the WinCC OA documentation: Add-Ons --> Disaster Recovery System --> Database configuration
