WinCC OA v3.15 project upgrade...

I was in the process of testing a project upgrade (specifically the WinCC_OA_Demo project located in /downloads/special of this portal). During the upgrade there are a number of errors that occur but the weird one was the fact that after the upgrade, you can launch the project but you cannot use the modified vision/login panel .... when you launch the Vision client it opens... but you cannot login (ok button does not work). HOWEVER, when I replace the login_internal.ctc library from the project with the login_internal.ctc from the WinCC_OA_3.15 installation path - the login panel feature works.

Can some one test and explain what is going on here?

This demo was made at a time, when some of the features used in there were not yet available in the product. So it uses some customized OA 3.14 product code. The modifications in these codeparts need to be merged into the 3.15 version. Some parts are not even necessary anymore as they are included in 3.15 now.

I did a small check on the demo and solved all the issues I could find. Also I removed some of the files not necessary anymore. Please find the updated package below.

Oops... Spoke to soon.

Andreas - the updated project works great - until you try to to hit the old Webclient (not the ULC UX) site of the OA server... the browser hangs and never sends the link to download the Desktop UI app.

ahh there it is - please update the the project and remove the webclient_http.ctl script from the /scripts folder... its the 3.14 revision

Thanks, sry, I missed that before doing the upload. I have changed the package here in this post and also done the upload to the Specials - section within Downloads. So its now available there too.
