Regarding the WinCC OA with Qt

Post by Pradeep Kumar »

Hi,

I am a new member and thanks ETM team for approving.

I want to Integrate Qt widgets to WinCC OA

I read the software requirements.

We require

Operating system

Development environment

Windows

Visual C++ / Visual Studio 2013 (VC12) Compiler Version 18.00.30501 for x64

If an API manager/driver was compiled using VS 2013 at least VS 2013 Runtime has to be installed on the target system. Otherwise the error "The system cannot execute the specified program" is shown.

And Qt 5.5.0 as per the WinCC OA licensed version.
We need Qt 5.5.0 with visual studio Compiler right for compiling?.

And i am going through readme document also.

Thanks,

If you need a Qt commercial license or if you can go with the LGPL version depends on what you're going to do.
I'm not a lawyer, so please check the options at https://www.qt.io/download/

Why cant we use latest version of Qt 5.7
Do we have specific reason the users should go for 5.5.0 version of Qt?

Thanks,
