Hi,
I am working on a project with several panels and a defined topology, and panels contain custom objects.
When selecting "Generate sum alerts" at the Panel Topology, no datapoints are added to the SumAlerts.
If I add an STD_OBJECT to one of these panels, , e.g. a compressor, and parametrize it to use a datapoint with configured alertHandlings, then the "sumAlert-compiler" detects the compressor-object, and correctly adds alertHandling enabled datapoint elements to the sumalert for the panel.
I have already looked at the documentation but I can't find a clear explanation to which are the requisites that a (custom) object has to meet in order to be correctly detected by the sumAlert-compiler.
Any light shed on this subject would be very appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
P.S.: Tested for WinCC OA 3.14 under OpenSuse and WinCCOA 3.14 for MS-Windows.

Re: Can\'t get sum alerts generated
The Portal, in the Lab section, has an XFile document number 9. Look at paragraph 2.10.
This document gives a general description on how to do a project (in 10 simple steps). It also shows you how to tell the icon to generate the sum-alerts
Hope this helps
