Hi All,
I wanted to establish communication between Rockwell “RsEmulator” to “WinccOA 3.14” without using Control Logix PLC. RsLinx Software supports DDE and OPC. I want to know the configuration in WinCC OA 3.14 to establish the communication to test my logic through WinCC OA 3.14 using RsEmulator.
1. Which drive I need to select in WinCC OA 3.14?
2. How to configure the driver?
Please support.
Regards

Hello,
if the Rockwell software includes an OPC server you can use a WinCC OA OPC client for the communication. If there is a OPC client in the Rockwell software included you can start a WinCC OA OPC server.
As there are different OPC specifications available (OPC DA, OPC A&E, OPC UA) you have to choose the correct client.
Further information concerning the OPC configuration can be found in the WinCC OA online help.
