It is possible to start the WinCC OPC DA client on an own machine with connection to the WinCC OA server.

I found the answer to my question.
But now I have another problem. I can not brows items.
I have WinCC 3.11(OPC DA Client) and WinCC 7.0 (OPC DA Server).
But I can brows items through Matricon OPC Explorer.

do you see any errors at the logviewer when trying to browse the items?
Have you tried the buttons to filter and reload the items?

After clicking on the Reload button, a warning message is issued: no heartbeat for 30 seconds.
