Is it any limit for the S7 driver in the WinCCOA when it's used polling for the datapoints? In our project we are seeing in the log viewer some warnings/errors related with the S7 driver. At this moment, we are using approximately 2000 signals for the S7, all of them configurated with the 1 second polling. We are able to see the values of the datapoints changing, but with the log viewer showing errors related with this. We will change a big amount of these signals with the "low level comparisson" configuration because we are interested in show the changes when only the value changes (some alarms, the state of the some switches, etc).
But we are interested in know where is the limit to set the polling configuration for the S7 driver, that allow us not to see this errors in the log.

Re: S7 driver error configuring a big amount of polling datapoints
Hello,
can you please give us an example for the log message you have observed.
The limit for the amount of data which can be polled varies on some factors:
-- used PLC
-- used hardware for WinCC OA
-- project configuration
-- database configuration (alarming, archiving, ...)
....
