Hello!
WinCC OA 3.13 on RedHat and WinCC OA 3.11 (Remote driver) on Windows Server 2003 R2. Is it posible? If it possible, what are the characteristics? I did not get to connect them.
I can\'t connect WinCC OA 3.13 on RedHat and WinCC OA 3.11 (Remote driver) on Windows Server 2003 R2.

Of course. just make sure to point to the correct event/data manager host/port combination on the remote driver machine.
If you checked that already, we need more information what happens (e.g. log output of starting driver)

Hello,
in one WinCC OA project you have to use the same WinCC OA version on every machine.
A combination of different versions in one project is officially not supported.
Connecting projects of different versions is only supported when using distributed systems.
Why aren't you using the same version for the remote driver?

Because in the old system installed Win Server 2003. It does not support the WinnCC OA 3.13. In new system we have 3.13.
On the Win Server 2003 we have Wincc 6.2. We need to start ops server on remote driver. Maybe you can offer another solution to connect WinnCC 6.2 (on W2003) with WinnCC OA 3.13 (on RedHat)?

Hello,
as described in the previous posting you could use a distributed system for the connection between WinCC OA projects with a different version.
You can install an own system with WinCC OA version 3.11 where the OPC driver is started on the W2003 machine.
