Hi,
Is it possible to modify HTML Page that shows the Status of a Project?
I would like to make some kind of tool for our technician stuff that would allow them to see status of only some managers inside the project and to be able to start/stop those managers.
I would like to modify HTML Page that shows the Status of a Project so it has limited possibilities when logged with some credentials.
Thanks,
Vedad

You can not change the page the pmon creates, but you can of course create your own dynamic page within a CTRL script which runs
an httpServer(). In a callback function from an httpConnect() query for the different manager states etc., create HTML code and return it.
You can start/stop managers in this way, too, when you use the ascii protocol to communicate with the pmon.

Hi Leopold,
thank you for the help.
I just find out nice things offered by httpServer().
Sadly, we do not have license for it, so first solution is not possible at this moment.
How do you use ascii protocol to communicate with pmon?
I could not find anything about this in help.
I found TCP commands for pmon, so I made small app that connects to serverhost:4999
and sends
"test#test#SINGLE_MGR:STOP 27"
But, nothing happens.
Is port 4999 right?
Do you have an example of a whole command including TCP part and username and password?
Do I have to send POST?
thank you for the help.

I made mistake and held TCP connection open too long, so it caused an error.
I still cannot stop/start manager using pmon protocol.
Please look at previous post. It was edited - changed.

Based on your description, I'm not entirely sure how you're sending this command. Note that the command protocol is plain TCP (and similar to telnet) and does not use HTTP. You also have to terminate the command with a line separator "\\n". The Pmon should then respond either with "OK" or an error message.

Hi markus,
thank you very much for the help.
"\\n" solved the problem.
Best regards.
