Unable to start the project - URGENT!

Post by vedadramovic »

Hello,
we have redundant project, and we had communication loss at one point.
After that one project SCADA server crashed and could not start - errors: "Unexpected state, ManagerInitialiser, initValueInitList, No typecontainer for the default system"; "Could not get dpId for "..."",
When I try to stop procMon we have error "FATAL, 63, Connection error, This manager is already connected or Data is running in emergency / backup / recovery mode or the active data is unreachable."

It is as if it is not able to receive files from redundant - running project.

Afterwards we tried to stop the other (working - redundant) side. Afterward we where not able to start nor left nor right side of redundant projects.

Now we have same error on both sides and our system is not starting and working at all.

Is there any way to make some kind DataBase export or at least export of dataPoints from our projects, so we can make new one?
Please help!

Best regards,
Vedad

Hi,

If it's urgent and critical, then you would definitely be better served by using the official support channels. On the other hand, since it's already almost weekend, they might take some time.

Since you didn't mention anything about it: Did you try an ASCII export? If I remember correctly, the ASCII manager should be able to read the database without having to start the project (if the database isn't corrupted). I think it should work like this (for details please check the WinCC OA Online Help):

Code: Select all

WCCOAascii -proj -out
And in case the database is corrupted, it might still be possible to recover some data with the appropriate RAIMA tools, but I can't really tell you anything about that.

Thank you very much.

Hi

If it's really really urgent, please provide an email address or a phone number
in this thread or send an email to bernhard.reichl@etm.at and I will try to make a contact to one of our support specialists.

Hello,

please note that submitting service requests via email is not possible.
How to submit a service request is described in the following FAQ:
https://portal.etm.at/index.php?view=it ... &Itemid=54

To be able to analyze this problem we would need the following information for your project for both servers:
-- logfile pmon.
-- logfile PVSS_II.log
-- directory-listing for the database (command dir /s > db_dirlist.txt)
-- used WinCC OA license (shield.txt)

Best Regards
