The WinCC-OA 3.11 System contain a Win7-Server and Win7 UI-Client and some Webclients. The whole system are on a Win-Domain.
If I logon on the Win7-Server, the logon run's normal. But if I logon on the UI-Client or Webclient the logonpanel get frozen for about 5s.
Do anyone have a Idee about this problem??
Thanks

Re: Domain Logon Webclient or UI
Hello,
do you really mean the logon panel or the splash screen while starting the UI?
Is the servername and its IP-address defined in the hosts-file of the operating system at the clients?
Have you defined the clients in the hosts-file for the WinCC OA server?
Which network (bandwidth) is installed between the servers and clients?
Best Regards

Hello,
Yes I mean the logon panel.
On the UI-Client I inserted now the server to the hosts file and now runs the logon very fast, thank you.
But how can I fix the problem with the Webclient??
Thanks
David

Re: Domain Logon Webclient or UI
Either use a DNS Server which can resolve the hostnames correctly or use IP addresses in your project config file for dataHost and eventHost (or at least in the config.webclient file)
