Hello Everybody,
A Colleague and i have a problem with the time stamps in the Datapoints. The time of the WinCC oa Server had been set to one day in the future. This mistake was easily restored by settting the correct date and time in windows. But this created a problem with the latest time stamp of the Datapoints, which was set to a time and date in the future. The events for these Datapoints were not updated to the present time stamp because of a faulty timestampdiff. We temporarely solved this problem by setting the date to 1 day in the future again. The system is now running again but we would like to set the date to the correct value. We could stop the system for one whole day, but we would like to keep the system running.
So my question is: can we reset the time stamp value of all the DP’s, so that the events of the OPC client can put its current data in the Server-application again.
Thanks for your time,
Berry

Re: DP Timestamp problem
Hello,
if the time of the computers was changed while the WinCC OA project was running not only the time stamp of the original values is affected.
Also you will have alerts which have an incorrect time stamp. If values/alerts are archived also historical values will be saved with the wrong time stamp.
The current values (original values) are saved in a specific part of the RAIMA-database. This part of the database can be initialized with a list of steps.
A description can be found in the FAQ-section:
https://portal.etm.at/index.php?view=it ... &Itemid=54
For the correction of other database parts more detailed information is needed.
Which steps need to be processed depends on the number of affected files/parts of the database and which information needs to be restored or must be available again after correcting the database.
In all cases a loss of data will occur.
