GIS Viewer - trouble adding shapes dynamically.

Post by mark.lazarides »

Hi all,

First - good to meet some of you at the WinCC OA User Days 2014. I hope you all got back safely.

I had a quick look at the GIS viewer module recently, and found displaying maps and shape file from files easy enough. I was also able to control these from controls (using buttons to show / hide layers).

I wasn't able to get any 'dynamically' added shapes to display on the maps though. I know the shapes I added exist in some format, as I looked for them and wrote to debug, which was successful. They just didn't seem to display. I followed the examples in the help on adding rectangles (I changed the lat/long co-ordinates to match my maps).

Is there a step not mentioned in the help files that I am missing?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi Frenk,

Thanks for the offer! Luckily it was a trivial issue with the co-ordinate system. A fresh look the next day solved the issue.

Thanks,

Mark
