Hi,
is there an easy way to transfer (or copy) DPTs with their DPs and structure from an existing project to a new one?
I thought it might work with DP-lists which I generated but I didn't figure out how to get the information out of these files to generate the DPTs in a new project.
Thank you!

Hello,
ASCII manager can be used to export the DPT and DPs and DPEs and in the new project import it through the ASCII manager.

Unfortunately I don't seem to have a license for this manager (it won't start).
Is there no other possibility?

Hello,
the ASCII-manager does not need a license.
It will be started on demand (using the ASCII manager panel or a command shell) if data shall be imported/exported. Therefore it is not added to the list of managers in the WinCC OA console.
The panel for the ASCII-manager can be opened from the System Management --> Database.
Please note that an ASCII-export only works when the ASCII-manager is started directly at the server. Exporting data from a UI-client (not running at the server) does not work.
