Problem using the COM interface (Component Object Model) for your own programs using DELPHI

Hello,
I want to use the COM interface to write an own evaluation with DELPHI 2009 for PVSSII 3.9. I got to the PVSS00COMLib in my program involved. So I can so use procedures like the INIT, dpGET, dpGETPeriod. The program itself provides no error, but no values ??are read. I use for reading the examples from the help and have them adjusted accordingly for PASCAL. I have studied the Help, but do not come on. Are there any other documentation or examples for the connection from the software via COM?
