How do I get access to the "Lab" section of the portal?

I didn't know that the Lab section is restricted, but you are right. When I log out and click on Lab, it asks me to log in first. It also says the following thing, which should answer your question:

When you are a customer then you'll get access to our Lab area, download patches and versions and read the latest news in the Product News!

we have forwarded the information to our product management team, they are responsible for the permissions in the ETM Portal.
Please check again in a few days if the permissions for your user have been changed.
