Simulating values in your WinCC OA project

Hello,

maybe you have asked yourself how you can simulate value changes in your WinCC OA project in a comfortable way without spending too much time for the implementation.
Now you can get a solution fulfilling this task.

I have implemented a functionality to simulate values in your WinCC OA project. The simulation can be made with a defined amount of value changes or based on the CPU-usage for the event manager.
This feature is now available as a non-official AddOn called "WinCC OA message simulation". It can be used on Windows/Linux/Solaris x86 for PVSS 3.9 and newer PVSS/WinCC OA versions.

Attached you will find a pdf-file "WinCC_OA_msg_simulation.pdf" with a detailed description for the AddOn.
To get the zip-file "WinCC_OA_msg_simulation.zip" containing the files for the AddOn please have a look at my own reply to this posting.

Please note that this AddOn is not part of the WinCC OA standard product and is therefore not officially supported.
If you have questions concerning the functionality or if you want to report an error please write a reply in this thread.
