autologin but not SSO

Post by tmalone »

Using SSA, how can I auto-login a user.

background:

SSO is very nice, but once you are logged in, you cannot logout inside the UI of the project and login as a different user.

We have a situation in which we have some "read only" workstations in the network. I want to auto login for those workstations with a "guest" login so they can navigate but not really do anything else.

If you logout of a UI, you can no longer navigate using Topology, so this is the only way that I can see to get what I need. Please don't tell me, "use the login framework" that is very difficult to understand and I tried to fiddle with the login.pnl and it appears they are using a QT object for the user/password!!!

Take a look at STD_LoginAs(). They use "login_ReloginSSA.pnl" maybe you can change that Panel.
