Using 3.19 on a DIST and 3.18 on the server
I'm configuring a new DIST and we decided to use 3.19 for this installation as we are planning to migrate to 3.19 with everything eventually. Currently though the server runs on 3.18 and this DIST is the only one running with 3.19 and SQLlite. Can WinCC OA handle the fact that the server uses RAIMA and DIST uses SQLlite? or will this simply not play ball?

Hello,
DIST shouldn't be a problem in your case.
A possibly more critical point is the use of alert archiving.
But for more specific suggestions and analysis on this particular topic, please create a service request.

The distributed systems can use different types of archiving.
If the "direct read option" is not a used a query for historical data is processed via the Dist Manager and every system queries data on its own.
