Events screen - group filter archived events for NGA database

I have an NGA WinCC OA (3.18, patch09) project.
I need to use an Event screen to display the following types of events:
* changes to parameters by operator in HMI
* operator commands in HMI - button clicks, etc.
I don't want to display continues measurements DPEs in Event screen, such as temperature or level transmitters.
So I need a way to filter only the types of DPEs I need. I need to be able to do that for archived values (DPEs with archive config).
I've tried to use the DP group filter for that, however it only works well for current value changes, but when I try to display archived values (by switching to last 24 hours in the filter, for example) I get the following error message:
"Reading historical data with a DP group filter is not possible in NGA projects".
Does anyone know a way to resolve this problem, for NGA projects (it works fine for classical database)?
