Hello All,
I'm looking for an option to play a video file (mp4 or any supported) or a GIF on a screen.
I read that there is the VideoOA EWO, but that's used for displaying live streams and requires a license.
Is there any other viable option?
Best Regards,
Gabor Baroczi

Re: Video file/GIF playback
Hi Gabor,
Gif are natively supported.
For video, you can use VLC activeX if you are using Windows.

Re: Video file/GIF playback
Video playback has been asked many times already:
Is it possible to import video file into panel
Example how to play media within WinCC OA, for example MP4/MKV files
Playing video within WinCCOA - Linux
VLC player in WinCC OA
WebView Functionality
Basically there are 2 answers use an activex or use the html5 video tag to show it in the webview ewo.
