Hello everybody,
I want to add new PC as webserver in the project with 2 redundant OA servers + 2 UI clients (standard clients ui not web ulc ui)
On both OS servers i have WebServer CTRL (with webclient_http.ctl script) running.
Now I want to add different PC with webserver functionality to enable external access to the web server via this PC. So the web clients will access to the system via this third PC.
But I am not clear what configuration steps do I need to perform to achieve this.
Could someone help me?
So I have in project: OSServer1 with IP1, OSServer2 with IP2, and I want to add OSWebServer with IP3.
All PCs are in the same ip subnet and all on Win10 Enterprise LTSC Siemens IPC547 PCs.
Web clients should access only to the OSWebServer PC (trough firewall with SCALANCE SC600, but that is different topic).
OS Server projects are created as redundant project (as I understood it is similar to the legacy standard project) and we don't use certificates in project so far (I want to avoid certificates whenever it is possible)
What type of project should i create on OSWEBSERVER? remote UI or some other type?
Do I need Multiplex Manager?
Do my OSWebServer project need only a WebServer CTRL Manager?
How to connect new project to the existing server redu pair?
I really need some step-by-step guide or application example of some kind.
Thank you in advance

Re: How to add WebServer as separate PC in redundant server project
If you want to run a "WinCC OA web server" on a remote machine you have to make a full installation on this machine.
Then you have to create a project similar to a "Remote driver project" which connects to both redundant servers and runs the script webclient_http.ctl.
If you need further information please get in contact with your common WinCC OA support.
