trendRulerColor not documented

I found a reference to the config entry trendRulerColor in the CSS file discussion. I would like to change the yellow for a night time implementation.

I have tried

trendRulerColor = "blue" and it says it cannot find color
trendRulerColor = "{170,170,170}" and it has no errors but the color is still yellow.

This should be documented in the help. I have check with 3.15, 3.16 and latest Online Doc and there is no discussion of this config file entry.

Also, how to change the color of the trend background? Is this only a CSS solution?

I found it in the documentation now. And it says only RGB values.

But, it seems to to ignore my settings?

Is there another setting somewhere to change the trend ruler background and the trend chart background?

I think that config entry is outdated. The trend ruler pop up is now a fully customizable panel.

Possibly you change the background of the chart area by setting the "backCol" attribute for the trend widget.
