Hello,

with the ADO functions can I export a WinCC OA Archive to an external SQL server DB? Is it possible to write some tags from WinCC OA to External DB?

With the ADO function it is possible to write to an external database. The DBLogger uses it.

Look into the NGA for archiving tags in an external database.

If you only want to write a few tags to an external database you can use the DB logger feature of WinCC OA.
Then you not have to write scripts on your own.
