NextGenArchiv databaseExecTimer timeout

Post by AdamKapala »

Hi!

We are running WinCCOA 3.17 P011 with NexGenArchiver running in proc on the same machine. We started to get issue with writing to the InfluxDb, the system is now buffering data on the disk.

InfluxDB is started and running, localhost:8086/health is showing "Ready to accept queries". I can also access Influx through the CLI and both users and database is created, the same with retention policies.

There is no error code being shown in the Backend panel of NGA configuration (Error code:0).

When I -dbg 2 the NextGenArchiver I get the following error:

Code: Select all

WCCOAnextgenarch118:No response from backend "NHV:_NGA_B_InfluxDB" within databaseExecTimer timeout (10000 ms). Will resend the block. This usually means that the backend is not connected
Could you advise if this is an issue with influxd / conf?

Only with the debug message we cannot see the cause for the issue.
Can you please check in a first step if the backend is set "active" and which logs are written when restarting the NGA manager.
