Installing new WinCC OA patch with Desktop UI

Good morning,

We are planning to install the latest 3.17 patch in a number of WinCC OA servers and we are using a number of machines with Desktop UI installed that are connected to them. Will the Desktop UI clients continue to work after the patch installation or they require any further steps (e.g. installing a patch for Desktop UI).

If the client is using a different patch than the server you will get a notification to download/install the newer patch when connecting to the server.
