3.18 Dialogs don't react on Enter Key

Post by kilianvp »

I think I found a bug. When you want to create a new data point, you used to be able to just press enter. This doesn't work anymore in version 3.18, now you have to click the OK button. Can you please put the old behavior back in the next patch?

I have tested it in 3.17 and 3.18.
In both versions the dialog to create a new datapoint does not close when pressing "Enter".
I do not see difference between these two versions.

Can you please check it again in your system.

I have compared 3.16 and 3.18 and I have seen that it works in 3.16.
We will do further investigations on this topic.

I got new information.
With the "Enter" key (in the num pad of your keyboard) it works.
The "Return" key does not work.
These are two different keys and it looks like the new QT version makes a difference.

Different behaviour with "normal" Enter key and "Numpad" Enter key also exists for the dpSelector.
1.Enter a value in the "DP filter:" textfield and press "normal" Enter => filter gets applied
1.Enter a value in the "DP filter:" textfield and press "numpad" Enter => DP Selector panel gets closed.
