Redu manager weight panel doesn't work correct

Post by joost.lijster »

Hi all,

Apparently there is a bug in the redundancy Manager Weight panel when using the NextGen archiving. When opening the panel, and trying to add an ApiManager, the panel adds a device manager upon closing. This is wrong. Some investigation (unhiding some invisible shapes in the panel) shows the following:

(screenshots added in attachments)
1. Selecting the API manager (screenshot 1), really adds a link to a device (screenshot 2, yellow shapes).
2. Selecting the NextGen archive manager, really adds an API link (which I wanted! Yay!) (screenshot 3, yellow shapes).

Step 1 and 2 clearly shouldn't be the case.

3. After adding the API manager by selecting the NextGen Archive manager, the panel now seems to work as intended (screenshot 4)

So, luckily there is a workaround, but I think the panel may need some bugfixing.

Kind regards,

Joost Lijster

-- EDIT: unfortunately screenshots can't be attached.. Nothing happens when trying to do so.

Hi Leopold,

This problem was encountered using WinCC OA 3.17P009. (unfortunately, I still can't attach the screenshots)

Kind regards,

I have tested it and I have seen a similar behaviour.
The problem was reported to our development department.
