invalid element variable type

Post by johanningmann »

Hello,
we are using WinCCOA 3.16 P16 and I have a problem to reorganize DPE`s to existing archives.
I´m using _mp Datapoint to config our DPE`s. The Problem is that as soon as I change one Datapoint e.g. from archive_4 to archive_1 the Datapoint is not shown in the statistical view of the Database configure_statistics_view. The following message appear for the archive_1 "Invalid element variable type (not suitable for archiving)" See Picture att. If I now configure the DPE`s back to the archive 4 the DPE show up as expectet and no message appear for archive 4.

Do you have any more detail information about the message "Invalid element variable type (not suitable for archiving)"

Kind regards,
Frank Johanningmann

If the error is shown in the panel please also have a look at the PVSS_II.log file for the project.
The information shown in the panel is also written to the log file where you can possibly find additional information.

Probably you have to do a (manual) fileswitch after changing the archive configuration to see the elements in the "Statistics" tab for the archive.

Hello,
the problem is solved.
The DPE appear in the statistics view as soon as a new value is written to the DPE.

Kind regards
