Post by feraBSTS »

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the archive on my project. Unfortunately, my archive often crashes a project. In log I have found this:

Last update from file WCCOAvalarch5 was:

The screenshoot of the configuration panel for archive 5 (for specific date) you can find in the attachment.

Do you have any idea what the problem with the archive is and why it stops the project? Also, what does the number 1011 mean in „Num:1011(14)“?

Best regards,
Fera

The numbers describe that your archive is configured to save 1011 DP elements but only 14 elements do have an active _archive config.
Can you please check the settings for the archive. If the number of possible DP elements is much higher than the number of archived elements the archive files get bigger than necessary.

Why the archive manager is stopped we cannot see from the parts of the log message.
If you need additional assistance please get in contact with your common WinCC OA support.
