meaning "EvDpManager::getDpValueAttribut: no element"

Post by eMichx »

Hello,

I have a lot of messages like below and I feel it has a great impact on the performance of the system (ev seems to be saturated), but I don't know exactly the meaning of this warning message. If I use the dpGetName function with DP and EL number, no string is displayed, then I have no information about the DP, I don't know too how zto find the type of DP.

WCCILevent (0), 2020.09.14 13:38:26.548, IMPL, WARNING, 54, Unexpected state, DP: (Type: 205 Sys: 1 Dp: 2145863983 El: 9 : _original.._stime), MAN: (SYS: 1 Event -num 0 CONN: 1), EvDpManager::getDpValueAttribut: no element

Do you have any information to help me. I'm working the 3.12 version (Windows server 2012R2)

regards
Emmanuel

If the Event Manager cannot resolve the ID to a name also the CTRL functions to get the name will not work.
The DP ID in the log message seems to be very high.
Did you create a DP with that high ID on your own?
Is the problem gone when the project is restarted?

You can have a look at the Knowledge Base --> Log-Messages.
Maybe you find there more information for this log message.

Hi Leopold,

These ID has not been defined by us. I suppose these DP ID were attached to a DP which has been created in the project.
These huge amounts of messages are logged after restarting the project.

We are using DPs containing several DPEs with a statistic function. When I delete these DPs, some errors appear in the event manager.
This deletion is called with a query connect function and I think when deletion is done.
A new call to the dpQuery appears too! but without DP name, just a DPId (something strange, I'm using a string var to get DPName, but an error occurs because the column1 seems not contain DP name string!)
I have added also before deletion, a dpSetWait to set inactive all DPE! Do you think, there's a relation to the event message?

This message is repeated several times, with different El number. Do you know how to get the DP type (type 205 in the message)?

In the forum, there's the same message with "no config", but I have no dpType on which a query is done on a node DP struct!

Hello,

With a dbg all on event, I have found the DPs. These DP contains DPEs on which statistics calculation is done (max, min, average /min) and (average/2mn and average/4mn)
why the attribut _original..stime will no exist for these calculations?
