Hi,
We would like to display in an own way, not using the System Management tool Diagnostics/System Overview, if the both computers building a redu system in a Dist System are running. In other words, we would like to identify when a PC, communinaction or only WinCC OA application is down.
Therefore after reading the help we thought using the internal DPE "_ReduManager.PeerAlive.Link0" and "_ReduManager.PeerAlive.LastAliveTime" would be the easiest way. However their values do not change at all, always 0 and 1970.1.1.1 0:00
Am i missing something. Could we really use these Information for this purpose?
I have checked in the code from vision\SystemOverviewRedundant.pnl that this panel is using the function "isConnOpen" based on a thread which requires more CPU performance. Is this the only/best way for that?
Thanks in advance to all of you!
Alberto

Re: How to check if a Server in a redundant system is running
When server 1 in a redundant system has a connection to server 2 the DP element _ReduManager.PeerAlive.Link0 will be "TRUE".
Do you want to get the information only for the local system or do you want to have this information also for remote redundant systems?
