[3.17] Node-RED installation not possible for root without password?

Hi,

I tried to play a bit with 3,17 and node-RED, but I cannot proceed to installation when using user without password, dialog box keeps telling me to enter password (even if I dont have any)

Is this known issue?

Otherwise, so far 3,17 looks amazing, kudos to improvements in ctrl++ and editor, as well as flow layout

In the dialog you are talking about you have to define a new user.
For the new user a password must be assigned.
