trend areaFixed functionality

Sometimes the documentation is not very helpful:

With the trend attribute "areaFixed" you can fix a trend area


I can only hope the German language version is better.

Can someone tell me what is actually fixed by using is feature. The code hints that is something to do with time? Fixed to what?

I had a look at the description and also for me it was not clear what the function is.
If you have trend with several areas the size of each area can be changed, e.g. with the mouse by dragging the splitter for the trend areas.
When you set "areaFixed" for a specific area the size cannot be changed anymore.

I have forwarded the information to our documentation group to improve the documentation.
