Is it possible to use WibuKey in a network, using WibuKey Network Server?
The idea is to have the dongle physically installed in one server, but being used by another server.

Re: Using WibuKey in a network
Hi,
On one of my project I have seen people using this:
https://www.digi.com/products/networkin ... nywhereusb
The just plugged dongles in the hub and could use them in any connected machine.

The WibuKey network server is officially not supported.
If you want to use dongles in the network you can use the SEH Dongle Server, this solution is officially supported.
For details please have a look at the WinCC OA Documentation: Installation --> Requirements for WinCC OA --> SEH Dongle.

Does anyone have first hand experience with the Digi dongle server? While not officially supported it is a fraction of the cost of SEH.

No first hand experience with the Digi usb server, but I know that there are more customers using this for their dongles.
But perhaps will 3.17 provide other options for licensing, so you do not need a dongle with usb server anymore to fullfill your requirements.
