Good Morning,
we are trying to configure a stand-alone project in redundant mode without success ( the partner PC is always disconnected by the first PC of the system).
We configure this redundant system following the procedure present at link:
https://www.winccoa.com/knowledge-base/ ... ndant.html
Besides we add in our project:
- config.redu file (standard ETM file for redundant project)
- "_2" datapoint on our S7 plus driver connections
- add redu port in config.file
- delete OPC connection and OPC group previously used for test
- add in host file name and address of involved PC
- right sequence of managers (Redun manager included)
Please inform us if there are other configurations to do.
Thank in advance.
Orlando.

Re: MANUAL CONFIGURATION OF REDUNDANT PROJECT
Copying the config.redu file located in the WinCC OA installation to the project is not necessary.
To see why the redundant system does not work we need to see the log entries during startup.
For the analysis it is maybe easier when you submit a service request using the Siemens Industry Portal.
Please have a look at the following entries in the Knowledge Base:
https://www.winccoa.com/knowledge-base/ ... ace15ea262

Re: MANUAL CONFIGURATION OF REDUNDANT PROJECT
Hi Leoknipp,
we solve by copying our project folders into a new REDUNDANT project.
Regards.
