WinCC_OA S7Plus Driver

Hello guys,

I'm using WinCC_OA 3.15 and I need to use S7 Plus Drive to communicate with TIA PORTAL V15 (PLC:S7-1500), so the communication type is not TSPP, but Pooling and subscriptions.

But when I install "SIMATICSCADA_Exporter" and I use the command "Export to SIMCATIC SCADA" of TIA Portal V15, it doesn't work and suddenly the program shutdowns.

How can I make the connection between WinCC_OA and TIA PORTAL V15 using S7+ Driver with S7-1500?

Since patch 11 (P011) 3.15 supports online browsing, which does not require an export of the PLC program. Only for synchronizing with the alarms in the PLC an export is required.

So if alarm synchronization is not needed, try it with online browsing. Otherwise upgrade TIA Portal (and SIMATIC SCADA exporter) to V15 SP1.

Oh thank you, I will try what you say. But where can I find TIA Portal exporter V15 SP1?

In this official website there is only V15 and V15_1

V15_1 is V15 SP1. The SIMATIC SCADA Export is also provided by the WinCC OA installation. It is stored under 'data/clsetup/windows-64'.

Thank you so much, I have checked that the option of Online Browsing works with WinCCOA 3.16 and WinCCOA 3.15 (from patch 10 or 11) but I have the lower version... so I don't have the online browsing... Is there another way to import symbols from TIA Portal?

I have WinCCOA 3.16 and I can make the communication and the importation of the symbols but my client wants WinCCOA 3.15....
