I have tried the connection of two different PC's and get the same problem

For the analysis we would need more information, e.g. the config file for the server to see which settings are made at the server.
According to the screenshots you are using a normal UI and not a Desktop-UI.
The project administration for a Desktop-UI looks different and does not a Process Monitor.

Possibly the firewalls in your system are blocking the TCP messages between the server and client.
To get more information you can activate debug flags on server and client side, e.g. -dbg dispatch for the UI manager and the Proxy-Manager on the server.
Please check if the Proxy Manager is started at the server, according to the config file the SSL communication is used.
