I have a i5 laptop with 12GB of RAM so plenty powerful to run OA.
However, my project has an issue whereby WCCOActrl Executable (WCCOActrl.exe) is premanently using 30-40% CPU time.
This is as soon as the gedi is opened and, and with no runtime panels or scripts running.
How do I go about finding and fixing the issue?

Re: WCCOActrl.exe taking 30-40% CPU load
Possibly the CPU load is caused by lot of processed messages. To check ff the CTRL manager is processing messages you can use the panel System Management --> Diagnostics --> Event. man. Connections.
For details how this panel works please have a look a the WinCC OA Documentation.
Which tool have you been using to trace the CPU usage?
