S7Plus Driver removes S7 driver configuration

I was using S7 drivers on a project, had the datapoints setup and addressed, poll groups setup etc.

I then installed S7Plus on the machines but didn't configure anything and found I lost the configuration for the S7 drivers, datapoint addresses relating to a S7 driver and the poll groups.

Can anyone explain this?

Are both drivers supported at the same time?

Cannot explain this, should not happen. Are you should the S7Plus driver installation caused this?
Both drivers are supported. In fact we have planned to use both drivers in our project.
